LEAPING DORMOUSE

As observed by Lewis Carroll, the dormouse is not noted for its speed and agility, but I soon discovered the inaccuracy of this perception. The creature is capable not only of a fair turn of speed, but it can also move around the branches of its arboreal habitat with surprising agility.
