PRINTS
All the photographs shown in the gallery are available as hand-made prints. These are made with archival pigment inks and printed on lustre paper, the combination reputed to have a fade-free lifetime of around a hundred years.
To ensure that the prints are of seamless quality, Stephen personally carries out the whole process from the original photography to scanning and printing, but please be aware that the highly compressed images seen on the web pages and the average PC monitor in no way compare to the subtlety and sharpness of the prints you receive.
Two standard print sizes are available as follows: - One printed on 11½” x 8” paper . . . . . . .£75/US$150
And a larger size on 19” x 13” paper . . . £125/US$250
Other sizes are available to special order
Please note that the actual size of the image will vary according to its shape. Whereas a normal oblong format will more or less fill the paper area, square pictures will occupy the smaller dimension.
Prices include and postage etc. Postage to countries outside UK is an extra £20.
Limited Edition Prints in Glazed Frames
Through popular demand a selection of prints is being offered as a Limited Edition (run of 200). The prints are about 19"x13" and set in 'glazed' black or white painted wooden frames. Each one is mounted on an antique white mount with approximately 2½" borders, and the mount is signed in pencil at the bottom right.
Glazing
Experience has taught us that sending 'glass' glazed framed prints is too risky to send by post or even courier. Thus now all glazing is in museum quality scratch resistant UV absorbing perspex as used by some museums and galleries. It is just as archival as conventional glazing, is easier to handle and it ensures safe transit. However it is a little more expensive.
Prices are as follows:-
Glazed in archival perspex (inc P&P) . . . £350Glazed in glass (for collection only) . . . . £275
Please do not hesitate to email us for special requests.
